5.0 out of 5 stars 現代に蘇った、至高のアメリカン・ロック。, 2003/11/8
最高のメロディ、ヴォーカル・ハーモニー、アコースティック主体の演奏・・・・・。彼ら自身が憧れたであろう、”古き良きアメリカン・ロック”サウンドを彼ら自身の手で蘇らせた、傑作デヴュー・アルバム。といっても、メンバーの3人は、すでにソロとしてのキャリアを確立した人達ばかりですが。保守的な音楽と言われるかもしれませんが、やっぱり良いものは良いんです。CSN＆Y「デジャ・ヴ」が、発売から何十年も経った今でも色褪せていないのと同じく、このアルバムも”エヴァー・グリーン”の魅力に満ち溢れています。年老いても、僕はこのアルバムを聴き続けることでしょう。今はただ、このプロジェクト（？）がこのアルバムのみで終わってしまわないことを、切に願うのみです。

ピート・ドロージがついに日本デビュー！この３人の中では一番知られてないでしょうけれど、１，５，９，１２は彼らしさがよく出ていて嬉しかった。
私はこのアルバムはずーっと聞き続けると思う。辛いときは１３のamong the livingで救われ、楽しいときは９のlong,sweet summer nightで踊ります。

ソーンズ、これで終わらず第２弾、３弾と出していってほしい、そして日本にもツアーで来て欲しい。来ないなら私が海外まで聞きにいくから！
