   『nu jazz』『Summer Madness』に続く小沼のリーダー第3作。ポップなギター・サウンドという点では前2作同様だけど、これは制作過程がちょっと違っていて生バンドによる演奏は2曲だけで、ほかの曲はすべて打ち込みを使っているのがユニークだ。いわゆる伝統的なジャズ・ギターだったら、打ち込みなんて論外だけど、小沼のような新世代が目指すポップ・ミュージックには、それが新兵器となるからおもしろい。たとえば<9>に聴かれる無機質なブラッシュの音。これなどはドラマーが演じれば、どうしたって人間的な音になってしまうわけで、あえて無機質な音がほしいのであれば、打ち込みを使うのが最善策なのだろう。ヴォーカル曲を加えているのも、これまでになかった試みだ。そのヴォーカル曲<10>はU2のヒット曲で、オリジナルとはだいぶ違った雰囲気に仕上がっている。10曲中オリジナルが5曲。ほかにデニース・ウィリアムス、マイケル・ジャクソン、ジャコ・パストリアスらの曲もカヴァーしている。プロデュースは笹路正徳。（市川正二）

小沼ようすけ、初めて聞きました。噂以上のテクニックとセンス。
そして、とっても良く歌う。

特に５曲目ウエザー・リポートの「パンク・ジャズ」は圧巻。
アグレッシブ、エキサイティング、そしてスリリング。

今後目を離せないギタリストだ。
でも、本アルバムでは惜しいかな、打ち込みの単調さに歯がゆさを
感じるところもある。

ここは、ドラムスがもっと煽ってくれよ、なーんて思っちゃったり。
やっぱり、リアルタイムに反応する生のバックに乗っかった演奏が、
聞きたい！

ようすけのギターは５星、トータルで４星。

もう車でならし放し!
おかげで頭の中は、ようすけのギターがなりっ放し!

前作も天才的だったが、今回はさらにパワーアップしている。
はじめて買った人は、すぐに前作も買ってしまうことになるから
まとめて買っちゃったほうがいい。

福岡ブルーノートで行われたＴＯＫＵのステージで過去４回ほど

生ようすけギターサウンドに触れたが、いい意味でリラックス
して滑らかな演奏に才能ってすごいなぁとひたすら関心したものです。

福岡でライブがあるときは必ず行きます。

　打ち込み主体の作品だが、どの層にアピールするんだろう。打ち込みも貧相な音作りで、ジャズ分野以外ではもっとセンスのある作品があるのに、これじゃ普段打ち込みを聴いている層にもアピールできない。小沼自身の曲もあまり特徴がなく、作曲面での弱さも目立つ。ギターのテクニックはあるが、あまり個性が感じられない。ジョン・スコフィールドの影響が強いようだ。
　これでは結局ギター好事家が聴くだけだろう。幅広い層にアピールしようとしている意図は分かるが、私にはこれが成功しているとは思えない。ジャズギター界期待の若手だけに頑張って欲しいものだ。
