上は将軍正室の御台所から、下は雑用係の御犬子供まで、そこかしこで繰り広げられる密かなる確執…。
大奥という女ばかりの美しくも異様な世界を描く、火曜時代劇『大奥』のエンディングに使用されています。
美しく澄んだ歌の中に、どこか物悲しさを感じさせる一曲です。

Aretha Franklin （アレサ・フランクリン）の有名な曲のカバーなのでメロディーは聞いた事があると思います。
名曲に負けずに吸収できていると思います。
