全曲デジタル リマスターでこの価格というのは嬉しい。選曲には若干の不満があるものの、『グレイテスト ヒッツ』には収録漏れとなっていた14がここにはある。８５年の映画『グーニーズ』の主題歌として余りにも有名なこの曲は、他に優れた楽曲の見当たらないこの映画のサントラを、今だに廃盤には至らしめないという強いインパクトをもっている。リマスターで更に魅力が増した上、彼女の他の名曲群と共に聴くことができるようになったのが、このＣＤの最大の価値だ。

もちろん、セリーヌ ディオンのカヴァーが記憶に新しい6など、ヒット曲オンパレードの中で、ただ年代順に並べただけのつまらない内容とは違い、全体的に統一感の感ぜられるいいベスト盤だ。

トゥルーカラーズをあるオムニバスで聞いて、シンディローパーの手頃なアルバムを探していたのですが、これは良かった！
トゥルーカラーズやタイムアフタータイムは勿論、他も元気でポップな曲、ちょっと切なくなるような曲、がシンディの変幻自在の歌声でこの上なく魅力的に輝いています。一曲一曲が素晴らしく、外れ無し…だと私は思います。

入門編にも最適です（でした？）。

１５曲中、デビュー作「ハイスクールはダンステリア」（オリジナルアルバムのジャケット写真とビデオクリップの印象に、まさにピッタリの邦題です）から５曲が収録されています。スピルバーグがプロデュースした映画「グーニーズ」の主題歌14（全米10位）も収録されてヒット曲が網羅されています。佳曲ぞろいなのですが、初期の音作りが、いかにも８０年代バブリー風で旧さを感じさせて残念です。是非、セルフカバーを出してもらいたいなあと思います。このベストを聴いて思ったのは、むしろヒット曲が出なくなった９０年代以降の曲・歌の良さです。是非９３年の「ハット・フル・オブ・スターズ」をアルバムで聴いてみたいなと思いました。それにしても12「トゥルー・カラーズ」（1位）は涙が出るくらいの名曲ですね。1（2位）は、まさに80年代を代表するＰＯＰで楽しい曲ですし、5（1位）は数々のカバーを生んだこれまた名曲！！他に4（3位）10（5位）2（27位）8（3位）6（6位）などがヒットしています。
