これは、毎年5月に佐藤さんが音楽仲間を募って行っているイベントのライブ盤です。佐藤さんの音楽仲間の幅広さを感じさせてくれます。SING　LIKE　TALKINGはもちろん、ソロ活動の他に、PLUSE　ONEというグループ名で小田和正さんと競演しCDシングルを出したり、SALT＆SUGARで塩谷哲さんとユニットを組んだりと驚くほど元気いっぱい。

このライブには小田さんや塩谷さんはもちろんのこと、AKIKO、コブクロ、Lyrico、GATS　TKB　SHOWなど個性あふれる仲間が大集合しています。ライブ盤は基本的にはあまり好みではないのですが、このようにライブでしか聞けない魅力を堪能できるのも、ライブ盤の魅力でしょうね。

音の響き、歓声、歌声の広がり、すべてが作成されたCDでは聴けないライブ盤ならでわのもの。しかも今回はアコースティックライブということもあって、最小限の楽器と、声だけ。処理されていない歌声は、スピーカーの中で響き、自分の耳の中で広がっていきます。

私が特に好きなのは、小田和正さんの歌のカヴァー「生まれ来る子供たちのために」です。この曲はシングルやアルバムとしてリリースもしているのですが、このタイトルの中に収録されているものが断然いいです。そのままの声で伝えられるメッセージは胸を打つものがあり、涙が出てきます。
ぜひ、静かにこの「声」を聴いてください。

改めて竹善さんの歌のうまさがわかる１枚です。競演してるどのアーティストよりのびやかで、心に響いてくる感じ。塩谷さんのピアノも芸術的で、「ピアノは伴奏」というイメージはなくなります。SING LIKE TALKINGのアルバムはいつもそんな気がしますが、これにも１２曲も入っていて、かなり「お得」感があります。私の好きなSING LIKEの曲がたくさん入っているベスト版のようで、どれが一番か甲乙つけがたいですが、最後の「La La La」がライブの終わりにふさわしく感動的です。残念なのは、Spirit of Loveを歌っているGATS TKB SHOWが肝心なところで高い声が出ないこと。いい曲なのに…。それを除けば、文句なしの１枚です！
