   WebやEメールの印刷したい文字をパソコン上で選択(ドラッグ)して右クリック。印刷を選択するだけで簡単にラベルが作れる。

ソフトを使ってオリジナルラベル作成
   同梱のラベル印刷ソフトを使って、多彩なラベルが作成できる。オリジナルのレイアウトでラベルの表現力がるるUP。また、バーコード印刷や、Excelのデータを取り込み、差込印刷することもできる。

ハーフカット機能付きオートカッター
   台紙を剥がしやすいようにシールにのみ切込みを入れ、自動的にテープをカットする。

バーコード印刷機能
   製品名や値段などと組み合わせて、バーコード付きのラベルがカンタンに作成できる。

クラフトシール対応
   用紙によって色々選べる絵柄が印刷された型抜きシール「クラフトシール」が使用できる。

　以前から使っていたやはりカシオ製の安い方のラベルプリンターを職場で使うようになったので、自宅用として少しグレードの高い方を購入した。ソフトも若干違い、色々なことができるようだ。主な用途はファイルの整理や音響・映像・ＰＣ関係のメディアへのインデックス付けなので必要十分だった。
　自宅にいるときは常にＰＣに電源が入っているので、ＵＳＢで接続するだけで簡単に使用できるのは便利だ。ＵＳＢケーブルだけでは使えずＡＣアダプター必要だが、毎日使うようなものじゃないから別に気にならない。
　フォントが使えたり、グラフィックスも取り込めるので分類をアイコン化することも可能。でもシールはシールどのように使おうともデザイン的な美しさはいまひとつだ。あくまでも事務用と割り切った方がよい。シールの色も数種類あり分類するには十分。
　キングジムのテプラ系列にも同様の商品があり、テープの種類も豊富だし、取り扱い店も多いと思われるので、会社の経費などで購入するのならそちらが無難かもしれないが、自分は予算の関係でこちらを購入した。特に不満はない。
