いくら何でも酷すぎる。強い憤りを覚えながらも、落胆する内容のアルバム。
だって、肝心要な秘蔵の珠玉の作品を取り上げないなんて言語道断！でこれを賛嘆、賛美、賞賛するのが分からない。
わたしは、惨憺、悲惨、落胆に失望と絶望を感じます。

どっかのド阿呆が「R314」ってなカスタマーレビューを書いていたんですけど、田舎ですかねェ？

タイトルだけを見た人は完全に騙されてしまう。
中身がひどすぎて、言葉にならない駄作盤。
「R134 OCEAN DeLIGHTS」というタイトルにふさわしくない選曲。

歌も吹き込み直したベスト版です。
移籍後のプライベートレーベル Dolphin He arts ではなく、フォーライフから出たのは、曲の権利関係の問題からでしょうか。
私は「Moonlit Summer Tales」を最後にしばらく杏里さんのCDは買っていませんでした。声が年をとっていないですね。細部の艶や伸びはより良くなっています。これは、驚きです。これからも、より恵まれた環境で歌を歌っていって欲しいと願っています。
ボーカルが良かったので、改めて「SMOOTH JAM-Quiet Storm」あたりも取寄せることにしました。

星が１つ足りないのは、アレンジが今までのアレンジを越えていないような気がするためです。音質など総合した点数を付けるとすれば良くなっていると思いますが、良くなっているという実感はありません。
角松敏生氏から提供された新曲は、8月発売の角松敏生氏のアルバムにも入っているそうです。
ここに載っている曲順は、実際の曲順と違います。

寺井尚子さんのバイオリンが入る「オリビアを聴きながら」、「Cat"s Eye」（角松敏生氏アレンジ＆ギター）あたりの後半に価値があります。「Boogie Woogie Mainland」でNiel Stubenhausのベースを中心にグルーブしているところが一番印象に残りました。
