   ある夏の日、両親の離婚で引越しすることになった小学6年の少年・見春（伊藤敦史）は、東京都保谷市と埼玉県日高市を結ぶ送電線、通称“武蔵野線”が一体どこまで続いているのかを知りたくなり、2歳年下のアキラを連れて送電線を1号線までたどる旅に出た…。
   第1回PFFの入賞者でもある長尾直樹監督が、日本ファンタジー・ノベル大賞を受賞した銀村のぼるの小説を映画化したキッズ・ムービーの秀作。淡々としながらも叙情的かつノスタルジックな演出が大いに功を奏し、子ども時代はすべてが冒険であったという、大人になると忘れてしまうことまで思い出させてくれる佳作である。現在TV版『電車男』などでも活躍中の伊藤敦史が子役時代に主演した作品ということでも、今では価値ある作品だ。（増當竜也）

祝！DVD化！
これまで、高額なビデオ版しか存在せず、この時をずーっと待ってました。
小説版（すでに絶版…）の趣を壊さず、とても丁寧に作られた作品です。せつなくなります。
そして、伊藤淳史くんの演技、おおたか静流の主題歌ともに最高。
小説なら『夏の庭』、ゲームなら『ぼくのなつやすみ』のテイストが好きな方にオススメの一本です。

ずっと昔にＴＶで放送されていて心に残っていました。
夏の冒険・・・
自分にもそんな思い出が色々あるのですが
この作品を観る度に、そんな思い出も一緒に鮮やかによみがえります。

夏休み、空き地、入道雲、セミの鳴き声、サッカーボール、
そうめん、マウンテンバイクなど等・・・

毎年、夏になると観たくなる作品です。

少し不思議な印象の映画でした。
あまり説明がなく、感覚で見るという感じの作品だと思います。
主人公の少年は、どこかで見たことある顔だと思ったら伊藤淳史君でした。(子供の頃はさすがに可愛い)
田舎の静かな風景の中、鉄塔を順にたどっていく少年の冒険。
一応2人の少年ですが、ストーリーとしては見春1人の物語と言えると思います。
子供なりの困難に出会いながら、それでも1号線を目指し続ける見春を駆り立てているものは何なのか？
言葉で説明できない子供の頃の微妙な心情が、自分の中にも甦ってくる気がしました。
印象的なのは、大人たちも同様です。
冒頭のシーンをはじめ、どこか奇妙で不思議な父親、淡々とした母親。
旅の中で出会う乱暴な大人や気のいい大人。
皆どこか変わった雰囲気で、でもかえってリアルなような気もします。
それぞれの態度を見春と同じ視点で見ていると、大人って理不尽で理解しがたいものなんだな・・・としみじみ思いました。
緑豊かな田舎の風景が、作品全体にいい雰囲気を出してくれていると思います。
