Huey Lewis And The News のChrysalis在籍時代のベスト盤。
レコード会社移籍後の曲（「Couple Days Off」など）は収録されていない。
ヒット曲のないデビュー作『Huey Lewis And the News』からも2曲収録されており、各アルバムからバランス良く選曲されている。
最も収録曲の多いアルバムはやはり『Sports』で、シングル5曲と「Bad Is Bad」の計6曲。
「Workin' For A Livin'」のみ、ライブ音源である。

収録に漏れているヒット・シングルには、「Hope You Love Me Like You Say You Do」「Doin' It (All For My Baby)」「I Know What I Like」がある。できれば、2枚組にしてヒット曲は全曲収録して欲しかった。

入門用には好適であるが、音質はオリジナルCDと同等であるので、オリジナルCDを持っている人に改めて購入を勧めるほどではない。できれば、リマスター盤で再発して欲しい。

子供の頃大好きだった映画「バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー」の冒頭の場面で、主人公の少年マーティーがスケボーに乗りながら、街を行くトラックにつかまって登校する場面で流れていた曲が好きで、何ていう名前の歌だろうってずっと思っていました。
大人になってヒューイ・ルイス・アンド・ザ・ニュースの曲と知って、ベストアルバムを購入。
今でもこのCDを聴くと、マーティーとドクの時空を超えた冒険活劇を思い出さずにはいられません。
