氷室のまたもや挑戦的なコンセプトぎっしり詰まったアルバム。サウンド的には嫌いな曲はないが、コンセプトだけが先走っているような気もしないことはない。でも、「Virgin Beat」や「Shake　the Fake」等は今までになかった氷室サウンドの一面がみれて嬉しい。完璧主義な氷室が追及して作り上げたアルバムなだけあって聴き応えはあるが、好きになるか嫌いになるかどっちかだと思う。でも買って聴く価値は大。音楽には関係ないが、このアルバムのジャケットもかっこいい。

前作から１年８ヶ月ぶりにリリースされたアルバムです。氷室自身が自律神経失調症になるまで悩みながら創られたこのアルバムですが、ぶっちぎりのビート系もあれば、全然、氷室っぽくない曲も収録されているなど、氷室京介の新しい面が見られるアルバムです。氷室自身はこのアルバムのことは好きではないそうなどで、それが、少し悲しいです。

はっきり言って、捨て曲は2~3曲ある。
しかし、それを忘れさせるようなロックンロールが素晴らしい。
本人も自律神経失調症になるまで煮詰めた一枚。
ベースに、旧友であり戦友でもある松井常松が参加。
やっぱり、彼の刻むビートはヒムロックの声にしか合わない。
アルバム全体的な印象としては、ちょっと音と声が乱暴であるが、

何度も聴けば、この良さがシミジミと分かるはずである。

このアルバムを聴いて、「似合わねー事やってんじゃねーよ」と
思った時点で終わりである。もう一度、最初から聴きなおしてください

今回は紙ジャケットと応募券つきらしいが、買う価値は絶対にある。
というより、買わないと損をすると思う。そんな一枚。
