こういう先鋭感覚を持った新人がイギリスから出てきたということが、おっさんの私には嬉しくなってしまう。まだ２０代前半のバンドとは思えないほど面白い音楽的アイデアが豊富にあって、ものすごく複雑な曲をやっているんだが、極めて高い演奏技術が自己目的化していない。だから頭に残るし、思わず暴れ出したくもなる。６曲目のように、歌メロで聴かせることも恐れていない。断片的には、Candiria、Slipknot、Glassjawとか色々想起させるのだが、借り物、寄せ集めという感じは一切ない。もしライヴが凄かったら、ホントにゴメンなさいするしかない。

プログレメタル＋カオテックＨＣ＋スクリーモ。といった感じです。
情けない声でいっちゃった感を出しているＶｏと、スライスのＶｏ似のＶｏのツインボーカルです。

メイデンのカヴァーをボーナストラックで収録しているところから、根底には
メタルがあると思います。

そして、変拍子やめちゃくちゃ感が先立ってしまっているようですが、メロディ自身もすばらしいです。
曲構成を「おっ」と思わせてくれるところもあります。

「色々なジャンルが混ざっていると、中途半端な感じがしていや」という人には、お薦めできませんが、
このバンドは色々なジャンルをうまく融合していると思います。

お薦め。

とにかく曲構成が複雑な変拍子メタルで、リズムは二転三転し、ギターは行ったり来たり。変態っ気むんむんです。
ツインボーカルで、一人が奇声を張り上げて叫びまくってると思ったら突然流行りのエモーショナルなメロディーが入ってきたりといった感じ。あまりに激しい曲ばかりで疲れる！と思ったらピアノのインスト曲があったりとなんでもありです。

個人的にこういった複雑な曲はあまり聴かないですがメロディがあるせいか意外と自然に聴けます。普段聴いてる音楽には飽きたという人は一聴の価値があるかも。
