一昔以上前に『天使とデート』というエマニュエル・ベアール主演の愛らしい映画（ＤＶＤも出てます）をビデオで観たのですが、エンディングに流れた曲に思わず聴き入ってしまいました。

あれから十数年、どうしても、もう一度聞きたくて調べました。

曲名が、エア・サプライのラッセル・ヒッチコックのソロで「虹に誓った恋」（Someone who believes in you）であることを知り、このＣＤの中に入っていることが判り早速・・・

・・・最高です、本当に心に響く旋律です。

聞き覚えのある名曲も幾つも入っていますが、私は「Someone who believes in you」だけの為に購入しました。

透明感のあるボーカル、やはり良いです、色あせてません。

バラードが好きな方、エア・サプライをリアルタイムで知らなかった世代の方、是非聴いて下さい。２枚組ですのでたっぷり楽しめます、損はしないと思います。

そして、私と同じ『天使とデート』のエンディングテーマが気になっていた方（余り居ないかなぁ）、これですよ、これ！　このＣＤに入ってますよ！

「渚の誓い」・原題「Making Love Out Nothing At All」に魅せられました。はまりました。バッド・フィンガーの名曲「Without You」もカバーしています。ほとんどのエア・サプライの代表曲が入っているベスト盤なので非常に便利です。値段が高いけど２枚組みなので。夏のドライブにもぴったりですね。

ヒット曲は全部入っているかと思いきや、NOW AND FOREVERが再録バージョンでがっかり・・・。
というわけで、決定版といえず星ひとつ減点。
