７０年初頭より活動しているオーストラリア出身のハードロックバンド　AC/DCの88年発売のアルバム　同時代のレッド・ツェッペリンやディープ・パープル等と異なる独自のハードロックを展開して現在も活動中　デビュー以来一貫して同じスタイルを貫き通す姿はまるでラモーンズのようでいつの時代のアルバムを聴いてもAC/DC節が炸裂しています　リードギターのアンガス・ヤングのスクール・ボーイ・ルック（半ズボン姿）にギブソン　SGギターはロック界の最も有名なトレード・マークになる　残念ながら日本ではイマイチ人気が無く30年近い活動の中で数回しか来日していない　ライブに定評がある彼らのライブを一目見てみたいものだ

AC/DCの歴史からすると地味なアルバムに属するが、バンドの低迷期を吹き飛ばしたまさに起死回生の１枚。頭２曲でツカミOK、後はﾐﾃﾞｨｱﾑ~ｱｯﾌﾟ~ﾐﾃﾞｨｱﾑ~ｱｯﾌﾟとライブを体験するような見事な流れで一気に聞かせる。さすがはAC/DC、これぞ縦のりロックンロール。アンガス・ヤングのギターがアツイ。

これは確かに良い。うん。いいですよ。
けどAC/DCらしいカッコ良さではないんですよね。
まえのAC/DCといったらカッコイイリフの繰り返しで
キレがあるハードロックですがこの作品ではいわゆる
「ロックンロール」って感じのAC／DCが聞けます。
カッコイイリフの繰り返しはかわりませんが、
また一味違ったカッコ良さです。
アンガスのギターソロもロックンロールって感じです。
