~Ron Trentの名前を知っている人なら彼がアフロで濃密な感情を込めたハウスのクリエイターでDJだと知っているかもしれない。これはRon TrentがFrancois KのWave Musicからのシリーズ"Deep and Sexy"の二番手として起用されたMix~~ CD。そんな先入観をあざ笑うように、優雅で美しい、それでいてグルーヴを失わないハウスの曲たちがミックスされた極上の一枚。Waveからと言っても今のFrancoisが指向しているようなテック・ハウスあるいはテクノよりのトラックよりもむしろヴォーカルものが印象に残る。そう、Ron~~ Trentのファンならば彼がリズムと同様にメロディやハーモニーにも素晴らしい才能を見せるミュージシャンと知っているだろう。これはそんな期待を裏切らないお気に入りの一枚。おすすめ。~

テクノにはいろんなジャンルがあります（CD屋さんに行くとそう思います）。その中でもハウスは人気が高いようですが，いざ聞くとなるとどれを買ったらいいのか分からないのも，ジャンル分けが厳密すぎるためかもしれません。
このコンピはハウス入門として特にお薦めです。

最初から最後までクオリティの高い，心地よい音楽です。朝焼けの海や夕陽のビーチのような，海のリラックス感もありますし，都会的でスタイリッシュな音も聴くことができます。
心地のよい，クールでおしゃれな音楽で，しかも飽きずに聴けるというのは，なかなか素晴らしいことです。もちろんダンスミュージックとしてのセンスも上級です。

Wave Music is the brainchild of scene godfather and dance music icon, Francois K. Since its formation in 1995, Wave has strived to provide an outlet for an assortment of eclectic and musically diverse artists. With artists like Alexi Delano, Boyd Jarvis, Tiefschwarz and Eric Kupper (to name a few), their discography is a divergent snapshot of the current state of electronic music. Eighteen months after part one, the second installment in this most excellent series drops, with another collection of gorgeous house, mixed by Chicago house legend, Ron Trent. Comprised of several tracks licensed from other labels, and some previously unreleased material, this is a anthology worthy of your consideration. Lovely summer listening.
