5.0 out of 5 stars マイケルブルームフィールドは、クラプトンと同じ位凄い！, 2004/2/9
　このレコードは、アル・クーパーの冠が付いた作品ではありますが、実際の主役は、ギタリストであるマイケル・ブルームフィールドその人に他なりません。（前半の５曲だけのプレイですが）

　１曲目の「アルバートのシャッフル」は実に圧巻です。ギターには、早弾きだけではなく、こういう弾き方もあるんだと改めて認識させてくれます。まさに感情を込めたプレイと言えるでしょう。
　クラプトン以外の白人で、ブルースを素晴らしくプレイできる人は他にもいます。その一人がこのマイケル・ブルームフィールドです。是非、聞いてください。

最高のギタリストです。一時期薬でメロメロになっていたスローハンドも嫉妬した程の腕前! シカゴで偉大なる黒人ブルースマンに揉まれ叩き上げられ鍛えられたホンマもんのギター弾き! 一曲目の「アルバートのシャッフル」を聞いてみて下さい。その偉大さが分かります。ブルームフィールド、ピーター・グリーン、ジョニー・ウインター、デュアン・オールマン…皆、本物です。そしていつまでも記憶に残るギタリストです!

レコードとして全てと言える程彼の記録は持っていますが、彼のギターを聴き始めた最初の一枚です。２曲目のストップは彼のフレーズがよく現れその後のレコードにも。ブルースフィーリング溢れる彼のギターワーク評価が低いのが不思議でなりません。亡くなってしまいましたが白人ではベストと言えます。私の中では2位にＤ.オールマン、3位ＥＣ（私的意見ですが）ですね。
