   前作『ランシドV』のハードコア路線から一転、再び本来の彼ららしいシンガロング・スタイルのパンク・ロックに戻った3年ぶりの新作。とは言え、ロカビリー、スカ、ハードコア、サーフと、収録された曲は思いのほか多彩なうえ、そんな楽曲を彩るハモンド・オルガンや打ち込みのビートの使い方もセンスの良さを感じさせ、全然嫌味じゃない。ちなみに、今回のテーマは「死」と「喪失」。実際、メンバーそれぞれに、さまざまな辛い別れに直面したらしい。しかし、決して暗い内容ではない。その悲しみを乗り越えようというポジティヴなヴァイブがアルバム全体を貫いている。「破壊できない」というタイトルは、このアルバムを作ることで、彼らが見出した答えの一つなのだろう。（山口智男）

RancidというだけでCD屋で買ってしまった。
前作の「Life won't ...」の線でそのままいっているのかと思って聞いてみると、
昔のハードな感じに戻っていて正直びっくり。
しかし今までの曲を消化した結果が現れている感じ。
自分的には、4曲目の「Red Hot Moon」が気にいって、買ったその日に
10回は聞いてしまった。

俺、個人的には今までの集大成って感じもします。今作品を通して聴いてみたら、1st~5thまでの音が詰まってるって思いました。ストレートなパンクの曲あり、４枚目でみせたダブ/レゲエっぽい曲あり、ハタマタ、Dischargeみたいなハードコアあり、ラーズがVo.のバスターズみたいな曲も聴こえてきたり...。とにかくバラエティーに富んでいて、飽きることなくサラッとアルバム１枚聴けちゃいました。やっぱ、おすすめは２曲目の"fall back down"ッスかね？個人的には５ｔｈっぽい＃７の"Django"ッスけど...。いや~、とりあえずカーステレオに入れておきたいアルバム#1ッスね。今んとこ...。

本作は、聴きやすさから代表作である３作目を引き合いに出されたりしているようですが、全く別物と考えてもらったほうがよいでしょう。

恐らくはファーストシングルである２曲目を始め、５、10、16曲目など、前作では入る余地のなかったようなポップな曲の印象が強いからだと思いますが、それでも３作目とはだいぶ異なり、どこか懐かしくキャッチーな曲に仕上がっています。

初期のランシドから前作のようなハードコアや、お得意のスカっぽい曲まであり、これまでの集大成とも言える内容で本当に楽しめるアルバムです。
ランシドファンも初めての方も必聴ですが、まずはオフィシャルサイトで試聴できるのでお試し頂いては？
