一人の男のさ迷う一夜と言うコンセプトが素敵です 言いたくても言葉にしたくない 背中で語るダンディズム このアルバムが出てかれこれ3年経ちますが 未だにここまで一人の夜が素敵で切なくなるアルバムには出会ってないです 好きな人が居るけど うまく言葉に出来ない切ない駆け引き 甘酸っぱく終わったデートの帰り一人車で聞いてみて下さい いつしか貴方も背中からダンディズム…

大人の男の色気充満のオリジナル2作目。相変わらずの洒落たジャケット写真に負けない内容を誇っているのはさすが。シングルカットされた冒頭曲(2)からしてGroovyで聞いていて気持ちいいことこの上ない。伸びやかな彼のボーカリゼーションも素晴らしい。続くSILVAを迎えた(3)ではOCTOPUSSYがプロデュースを担当。メロディーラインが秀逸で、サビでの二人の掛け合いにもぐぐっと引き込まれてしまう魅力がこの曲にはある。単純に美メロでいい曲。官能的なミディアム(4)のサビでも男の色気がじわじわ感じられるし、正統派バラード(5)も一筋縄でいかない秀逸なアレンジが施されており聞き込むほど味わい深い。一聴すると地味にさえ聞こえる(8)も、Jazzyな雰囲気と絶妙なボーカルの歌いまわしでかっこいい楽曲に仕上がっているし、捨て曲らしい捨て曲は見当たらない。CMでもお馴染みの篠原涼子とのデュエット(12)も、本当に酒が似合う何とも言えない雰囲気に包まれていて絶品。圧倒的なボーカルが堪能できる(14)も力強いし、ラストの(15)まで相当に練りこまれた作品ということはひしひしと感じられた。作品の統一感もものすごく高いし、椎名純平というアーティスト感が多分に染み出た良質なアルバムであることは間違いない。こういった作品がもっと日本で売れるようになればと思わずにはいられない。

椎名林檎のお兄さんなんだ、という認識だけで購入したCDですが、
今、かなりお気に入りの1枚です。
特に2曲目は、いろんな面でパーフェクトだと思います。

SILVAや篠原涼子とのデュエットなどもありますが、個人的には椎名氏個人の
歌唱力が聞けるその他の曲のほうがお勧めです。

ドライブの時などにかけておくと、おっ、この人センスいいんじゃない？

って思われる気がします。
