恐らく、“This is Jazz”の“This”を独語の“Das”に入れ替えたのだと思うが、CDタイトルに一寸目を引かれた…
1953年、54年の録音というが、「音楽は不滅…」などと感じ入りながら聴いた…ドイツの都市の様子を思い起こすと、意外にジャズが似合うかもしれない…
どの曲も軽やかな感じで、落ち着いたBGM感覚で付き合える。

ドイツで開かれたコンサートを収録してあるので、拍手の音も入っていました。ゆっくりと静かな部屋で聞いていると、約50年前に開かれたジャズ・フェスティバルの会場にいるような感覚にとらわれるのでは？？
ジャズには全く詳しくないし、むしろ無知といってもいいほどの私ですが、それでも聞いていてとても楽しかったです。
