~前作「サイエンス・フィクション」とは全く毛色が違いよりロック色の強いアルバムとなっている。まるで７０年代後半のサイケデリックロック、プログレと現代のエレクトロが融合されたような音楽だ。全編メローな感じのロックなのだが、かなり深い世界まで誘ってくれる。

前作同様、毎曲違うゲストの男性ボーカル＆Richard~~ File達もまたいい味をだしている。みんな歌い方がエロく感じるのは自分だけだろうかw　イントロのオジー（ブラックサバス時代）のサンプリングがまたいい味だしてますね！~

前作、「サイエンスフィクション」が衝撃的な作品だっただけに、今作が出るのをすごい楽しみにしていました。周囲も期待をよせる中届けられた今作品はまさにunkleサウンド！非常にかっこいいです！
前回はあのDJ SHADOWとタッグを組みましたが、そのDJ SHADOWはunkleから離れ、今回はジェームスラベルの盟友であるRichard Fileとの共作。このRichard Fileの存在も大きいです。ボーカルやギターなど、いろいろな面において今回のアルバムに貢献しています。
また、前作では多彩なゲスト参加が話題をよびましたが、今回もゲストはすごいです。Massive Attackの3Dや、元Stone RosesのIan BrownとMani(maniは現在はprimal scream)、Brian Enoなどが参加。しかもこれだけの濃いゲストを迎えながら、アルバムとしてはとてもよくまとまっています。どの曲も根底にあるものは同じというか、芯が通っているように感じます。まさに全曲James Lavelle、unkleの曲です。
前作を聞いてない人は前作もおすすめしますが、今作品もとてもかっこいい内容になっているので、是非、聞いてみてください。

UNKLE５年ぶりのアルバム。

DJシャドウの離脱でどんなアルバムになるのか想像もつかなかった今回のアルバム。だって前作はシャドウのアルバムといっても過言ではない作品でしたからね~。しかし、期待を裏切らない出来といっていいのではないでしょうか。確かに前作のようなヒップホップ色はほぼありません。その代わりアコースティックギターと機械的なビート音がこのアルバムを支配しています。ロック的アプローチとよく言われていますが、エレクトロニカにロックを導入したといったほうがしっくりくるような気がします。前作ほどゲストも豪華でなく（今作でも十分豪華ですが)、ポップさも失われていますが、これはこれで素晴らしいアルバムだと思います。リチャード・ファイルって知らなかったんですが?いい仕事しますね~。声もいいです。
