   “at the BEING studio”シリーズのひとつで、ブルースをテーマにしたコンピレーション。80年代に BEING が手がけたインディー・レーベル、Yeah Records の音源を中心に編纂している。国内ブルース・バンドとしては代表的存在の The WestRoad Blues Band や、そのヴォーカリストだった永井ホトケ隆、ギタリストだった塩次伸二らを筆頭に、ブルース・ハープの名手であるウィーピング・ハープ妹尾、B.B.QUEENS でも知られる近藤房之助など、日本のブルース・シーンを彩った豪華な顔ぶれだ。中でもホトケの演奏が見事で、ロバート・ジョンソンの曲を、デルタ・ブルース臭たっぷりの濃厚なプレイで聴かせる。ほかに、B'z の稲葉浩志、ZARD の坂井泉水ら、ロック／ポップス系のアーティストがブルースを歌っているのも聴きもの。（小山 守）

かつてリリースされ今現在では入手困難な音源が多数収録されている、ＢＺのファンやＺＡＲＤのファンの方にもお薦めの1枚。特に1は伝説のブルーズバンド「ブレイクダウン」の解散後、近藤房之助が結成した「ＯneArm」時代のものであり、現在入手可能なＯneArmの音源はこのＣＤだけであると思われる。日本を代表するブルーズマン近藤房之助、永井ホトケ隆、クンチョーの説得力のある、音楽を通して人生が垣間見えるその姿は、現在の日本の音楽シーンを深く再考させられる、まさに「教科書」である。必聴！！
