   スピード狂のタクシードライバーのダニエルは、運転のできないマヌケ刑事エミリアンにスピード違反で捕まるが、違反を取り消してもらうかわりに、捜査に協力する約束をする。そして彼らはドイツの強盗団「メルセデス」を追うことに。

港町マルセイユに、ベンツに乗った強盗団が現れる。

警察が調査を始めるが、警察署長のドジが多く、捜査がはかどらない。
同じくドジの警官エミリアンは、ひょんな事から時速300ＫＭで走るタクシーの運転手と知り合う。

派手なカーチェイス、警官より頭が働くドライバー、サミー・ナセリ。

ギャグを随所に飛ばしながら、ストーリーがテンポ良く進んでいく。
とてもフランス映画らしく、よく笑える。

上映時間も、９０分そこそこと、飽きがこない長さなのも好感度大。
面白いですよ。

フランス流ブラックコメディとワイルドなカーチェイスは見ていて退屈しません。
主人公のダニエルとエミリアンのやり取り＆フランス警察のお間抜けぶりには笑いっぱなし。

でもシメル所はぎゅっとのリュック・ベッソンですからカーチェイスになるといままでのバカっぷりから一変して超ハイスピードのアクションに。車にもかなりこだわっているので車好きにもいい感じ。「あっ！ハンドルが…」とか「タイアも…」といったメーカー探しも楽しいですよ☆
　そうそう、３には日本車がいっぱいでてきます。

冴えたフランス語が聴ける楽しいTAXIシリーズ！
フランス語と言っても、バリバリなまってる「マルセイユ弁」も満載で１２３と最後まで面白い。その第一作目。敵はドイツだ！次は日本で最後は中国っと！なんだかフランス人から見た「お笑いで誤魔化した経済制裁」みたい。
