イタリアのシンフォニック・ブラックメタルバンド、グレイブワームの4th。2003作
前作でも泣きのシンフォニック+疾走という完成度の高いアルバムを作っていたが、
今回では音に重さが加わった感があり、全体としてサウンドの説得力が増している。
ブラックメタルとしての突進力と煽情的なメロディのバランスが見事で、
静寂パートの耽美性はゴシック的であり、壮麗なキーボードが音に厚みを加える。、
ここまでくるとSTORMLORDと共にイタリア産のシンフォブラックとして一線級に来たという印象だ。

前作のScourge of Maliceでは、激悲哀シンフォの頂点に君臨しただけに、シンフォ度と泣きのくさくさメロディーが減退してしまった今作は、残念でならない．．．しかし、その分ギターの重圧感が増して重戦車のような威圧感を感じるようになった。曲調は相変わらず暗く悲しく、速い曲は少ないです。

メロディー泣きまくりのシンフォニックブラックメタルです。
下手に国内盤がでているブラックメタルバンドより聴き易いと思うけど。
日本デビューしないかな・・・
CRADLE OF FILTHとか好きな人にはオススメだと思う。
