~シンプル　イズ　ベスト。
よけいな音や、ゴテゴテしたエフェクトをかけず、フツーに聴かせてるのが良い。
何と言うか、北欧家具のシンプルでポップで尚かつカラフルなイメージと重なるものがある。
それでいて曇天で薄暗い北欧の静かな冬のイメージも垣間見える。寂しげな雰囲気。

メロディAMという題名通り、午前（それも夜中から夜明けごろにかけて）によく合う曲だと思う。
個人的には、特に#3のsparksと#9のShe's Soとかが特に夜明け前って感じでだるくて良い。
#6のpooe lenoは雪降る中の、#8のremind meは曇天のドライブで聴きたい。
ちなみに#2のEpleはMacOSXが初めて起動するときのBGM。（Eple=”りんご”なので）

ディスク２のリミックス版もレベル高し。#4はなんかテクノテクノしてて良いし、
#5のFatboySlimのとかは楽しくて踊れる。（この曲だけ南国風？と思える明るさ）
あと、ムービーがついて来るんだがこれがまた可愛らしいのだね。
唯一難点。CCCDだが、私はフツーにiTune→mp3で聴いてるから問題ないんじゃなかろうか？

まぁ過度な期待はせず、ダルくゆるく聴くと非常に良いアルバムだと思います。
曇天の似合う「普通の曲」ですから。~

ノルウェー産エレクトロダンスミュージック。と言っても、例えば音響派等と言われるような実験的な音作り、というアプローチでもなく、かといってダンスミュージックといってまとめるにはビートは弱い（しかし体は揺れてしまう）。アンビエントともチルアウトともつかない、何故ならダンスミュージックだから。そんな感じで、なんとも地味-に新しい音な気がします、これは。代表曲『Eple』の、どこかスぺーシ-な感じの気持ち良さといい、一番アップビートと思われるハウスナンバー『Poor Leno』の何故かヒンヤリした感じといい、例えると「これは北欧の、近未来宇宙冒険物アニメのサウンドトラックだよ」と言われた方が納得してしまいそうな、ある意味、少年的な音世界。とにかく未聴の方は聴いてみて欲しいです。ツボにさえハマれば、かなり幅広い方に受け入れられるんじゃないでしょうか。例えば、ゾンビーズが好きな方、スティーヴ・ライヒが好きな方、ビル・エヴァンスが好きな方、はたまたエリック・サティ好きの方なんかも、なぜかこのダンスミュージックを好きになってしまうかも知れません。PVも雰囲気良いし、リミックスも豊富で、cccdでも妥協の価値有り。

うーん、ちょっと期待しすぎたか･･･

一連のシングル郡はどれも素晴らしいのだけれど、
(特に｢Eple｣と｢Poor Leno｣の持つ独特の緊張感と言ったらもう!!)
それ以外の曲が今ひとつ引っかかるところがなかったというか。
サラっと聞き流すくらいの方がいいのかも。
それと、やっぱり春夏には似合わないなぁ。
いやぁ、好きなんだけど。

あ、でもハウスファンならDISC 2の1曲目｢Don't Go｣はチェックして欲しいです。
インストものなんだけど、なんだろう、妙に気に入っちゃう。
(ああやっぱり僕の語彙では表せません(汗))
でもその他のリミックスってそんなにいいかなぁ?
｢Poor Leno｣のJakatta Remixはいいんだけど、原曲まんまと言えばそうだし･･･
どうせならRadio Editじゃなくて、フルレングスのミックスが欲しかったですね。
せめてコンピで手に入る｢Remind Me｣のSomeone Else's Radioと、
原曲と殆ど変わらない位置づけのJakattaくらいは。
