オリジナル・ラヴの初期の作品、有名ドコが並んで入っています。『変身』とどちらを購入しようか迷ったけど、12曲目のWALL FLOWERに引かれてこちらを購入しました。あの頃を懐かしんで聞く予定だったけど、すっかり今の曲として毎日聞いています。
disk2も変わった感じで面白いです。

昔貸しCD屋さんでお借りしてｶｾｯﾄﾃｰﾌﾟへﾀﾞﾋﾞﾝｸﾞして沢山聴いていました。若い頃だからお金を節約して歌詞ｶｰﾄﾞなんか手書きで写していたりしてね。当時も今現在も変わらずに日々疲れた心へ浸み渡る本当に癒される田島さんの良く伸びる素敵な低い歌声そして時にIt's a wonderful worldで聞かせてくれる穏やかな裏声......どの曲もとてもたおやかに包み込まれる様な魅力に満ち溢れています。何度でも聞き続けていたい懐かしさで一杯です。知的な詞の数々にも勿論惹きつけられます。!Viva el senor Tajima!ｵﾘﾗﾌﾞ初期のｴﾈﾙｷﾞｯｼｭなﾊﾟﾜｰ全開で是非お薦めの2枚組です。

最近の田島貴男=オリジナル・ラヴの男の情熱の吐露みたいなスタンスもとても好きで、３大渋谷系と呼ばれたフリッパーズ、ピチカートと比べても、時が経ってますます熱量を増している気がします。

とはいえ彼の音楽センスの原点はここにあります。何よりコード進行を理解するだけでも難しいと言われる彼の作曲能力の高さは、今も昔も一貫してすごいなと思わされます。まだバンドだった初期オリジナル･ラヴの音は、元祖渋谷系と呼ばれるに値するクールでオシャレなイメージで、今聴いても全く古びていません。そこが何よりすごいなと今回、改めて思いました。
レア･トラック集のほうも、雑多感はまるでなく、まるで一枚のオリジナルアルバムのように聴くことができました。高野寛とやったビールＣＭの「Winter's Tale〜冬物語〜」も、とても良い曲です。
