英エレクトロニカ・ポップ・デュオ、
サートゥンリー・サーの1st。
2002年英リリース作の初国内盤化となる。

アコースティック・エレメンツ+
クールなエレクトロニクス・サウンドと
センチメンタルなメロディ、繊細なヴォーカルとの融合。
そのはじけすぎないPOP感覚は
アーランド・オイエを思わせ、
ほのかなR&Bテイストがとてもスタイリッシュ。

すごく都会的で、
洗練されたエレクトロ・ポップに
仕上げている。

Warp、テイ・トウワ、AIBO等傑作デザインを生み出した
デザイン集団=ザ・デザイナーズ・リパブリックが
ジャケットのアートワークを手がける。

バンド名CERTAINLY,SIRとは「かしこまりました」の意味。

彼らなりのmagicのかかったmusic=mugicは
差し出された極上のディナーよろしく、
遊び心のたっぷりかかったソースでいただきましょう。

　uk発の新興レーベルであるspoilt（もうきえてしまったのだろうか？）からリリースされた、certainly, sirの1st album。

　メンバーは元the wicked farleysというバンドをやっていたmichael andor brodeurと、the ivory coastのba.であるklaus huddenのデュオ。
　今作のプロジェクトは、彼らがやってたバンドとはちょっと離れているみたいだけど、これがかなり絶賛されてます。

　瑞々しいエレクトニカ・ポップなサウンドで、光と闇が交互に訪れるような魅力的な空間を作り出します。
　綺麗な音がポップさを湛えながら、vo.のほうも歌心が溢れていて、繊細な歌声でメロディーをなぞります。
　postal serviceとか好きな人にはとてもお薦めな感じ。

　日本盤が石川県金沢市のrallye labelから出ているので入手もラクです。
　そしてどの曲もイイです！
