   人気のカーバトルタイトル「首都高バトル」シリーズの最新作。バトルエリアに大阪と名古屋が加わり、登場ライバルも500名以上とこれまでにないスケールアップを果たしている。タイトルになっている首都高エリアの強化も図られており、本作では横浜環状が追加され、ベイブリッジでのバトルが実現した。コースの精度は航空写真やレーザー計測した点群データを駆使して作成された究極のリアリズム追求型で、道幅も含めてすべて実寸で再現されている。

   ドライバーの精神力がバトルの勝敗を決める「SPバトル」システムも健在で、従来の「Player vs Rival」だけでなく、「Player vs Rival & Rival」という1対2のバトルも用意されている。個性豊かなライバルたちもそろい、大学の自動車部員で構成されたチームや環状ショートコースを得意とするチームなどとさまざまなバトルが展開される。

   登場する車は、走り屋定番の車種から憧れの名車まで充実のラインアップ。チューニング箇所は、エアロパーツやボディーペイントはもちろん、ヘッドライトのアイラインやカラー変更、エンジン換装など、本物のチューニングマニアも納得できる作り込みがされている。（平井 信）

まず最初にコースのリアル感が凄いですね！、僕の父は長距離の運転手なんですが「ここ前走ったで、この次はＯＯインターやで」とか言っていました、やる人はもちろん見てる人も楽しめますね！特に首都高、名古屋高速、阪神高速を走った事ある人は倍楽しめますね。
　次に、このゲームで車の事がたくさん分かりました、ある意味勉強のできるゲームですね。

　でもいい点ばかりという訳ではありません、まずは車の車種ですが、多いといえば多いのですが、スポーツ系とかＶＩＰ系に偏ってますね、どのレースゲームもそうですが、車種の幅を広げて欲しいです・・、具体的にいえば、ワゴン系とかも欲しいです、後ホンダも入れてもらわないと・・。

　総合的には80点ぐらいですね、20点は車種の問題ですね、もし新作が出来るのであればその点を考えてもらいたいです、でもそれなりに楽しめましたね、買って損は無いですよ。

今まで１度でも首都高バトルシリーズをやったことがある人なら分かると思いますが、期待が裏切られた時は無かったハズです。
しかも今度は、エンジンの乗せ変え、ライバル２台との複数バトル、ボディ全体へのペイント可能など、追加項目をあげ始めたらキリがありません。

レースゲーム好きはもちろんの事、ドライブゲームとしても、車好きの人でも楽しめると思います。
これは何が何でも買いですよ！いや、マジで！

ただ、現実世界のほうではホントにやめて欲しいんですけどね･･･
