以前に「ぼくが地球を救う~Sounds Of Spirit~」を聴いてからＳＯＳにハマりました。それから、このアルバムを聴いてみました。

SKOOP時代の曲も嫌いではないのですが、個人的にはＳＯＳとなってからの曲が印象深く心に響き好きです。（曲のメリハリが付き、聴きやすくなったような）その中でも１~９までは一度聴いたらメロディが忘れられません。ＳＯＳの曲はＣＭなどでよく耳にしたものが多いので忘れたくても耳に残っているのかもしれません・・・。
特に「潮騒」は間違いなく良いです！切なく歌い上げるTAKEの声にうっとり酔いしれてしまいます。また、サビのインパクトがものすごく強く、心打たれました。

ひとつのアルバムとしての完成度は非常に高い(ベストだから当然か･･･)のですが、「僕が地球を救う」がフルで収録されていないという点が個人的には非常に残念なので星４つとさせていただきました。

スクープは昔、ヒッパレにたまに出演していて、
格段に歌がうまいなぁと思ってから徐々に気になり出し、
アルバムを聴きラジオを聴いてからは
その歌唱力、楽曲、人間性に一気に惚れました。
彼らはデビュー当時から完成していましたが、
さらに年々熟成しています。
でも、技術的には今より劣っていたとしても、

若さゆえの良さというか勢いはその時しか出せないものなので、
そういう感じも是非聴き比べて欲しいな、と。

スクープには色んなジャンルの曲があるので、
友人に薦める時はとりあえずこれを聴いてもらって、
好きな曲を聞いてから、そのジャンルのアルバムを
また貸してあげたりしています。
SKOOP時代のシングルは店頭ではなかなか置いていないので、

全部まとまって聴けるこのアルバムはかなりお得。
最近スクープが気になり出した方は、
まずこれを聴いて彼らのバックボーンを感じて欲しいです。

ちなみに私が好きなのは、Nice'n Slow、Mood 4 Luv、Amanogawa、sha la la。
初期の感じが好きです。

2003年5/21にシングル｢抱きしめて/My Gift To You｣を発売。続けてこの度、初のシングル･コレクションを発売します！今年のS.O.Sはやりますよ(^^)v 1997年SKOOPの名前でデビュー、その後Skoop On Somebodyと改名、最近ではTVドラマ｢僕が地球を救う｣の主題歌になったり、CHEMISTRYに楽曲を提供したりと知名度・活動ともに幅が広がってきました。そんな彼らのR＆Bの軌跡をみなさんも是非、聴いてみませんか(^O^)/また今回は、幻のデビュー曲｢No Make de On The Bed｣もアルバムに初収録されています。
