　サティを｢ヒーリング音楽｣と評価する人が多いですが、聴き手に優しい｢ヒーリング音楽｣｢イージーリスニング｣｢ラウンジ｣の類ではありません。好き嫌いが分かれるのも無理はありません。私は｢音楽のアールデコ｣だと思います。直線と幾何学模様で構成されるアールデコは、クールで無機質なのに、ユーモアと叙情性が有るところが魅力ですが、サティにもそれを感じます。普通のクラシックは感傷的過ぎるし、現代音楽はあまりにも理性的・構築的で叙情性が無さ過ぎる。私にとってサティはとてもバランスが良いです。

　パスカル・ロジェの演奏は、技術は何も文句の付け様が無く、詩情豊かに弾いています。

　サティが好きな人は必聴。サティは好きじゃなくても、パスカル・ロジェの演奏を聴くだけでも価値が有ります。

　アンビエントやエレクトロニカ、ジャズのファンにもお薦めです。

パスカル・ロジェのサティ・アルバムはこれと他に、３つある。これはその中でもまずはじめの聴いたらよさそうなアルバムだ。録音状態が良いです。また、とてもねばりがあり、繊細で、力強い演奏です。このアルバムが気に入ったなら、他のアルバムを買うのも良いのではないでしょうか。一応、書いておきます。「エリック・サティ：ピアノ曲集『諧謔の時代』」と「エリック・サティ：スポーツと気晴らし」と「エリック・サティ：４手のためのピアノ作品集」です。

なんともいえないサティのピアノ。
愉快といえば愉快な、不愉快といえば不愉快な、不思議な旋律は聴く人の心を捉えて放しません。
有名なジムノペディを始め、サティのピアノ曲あれこれを知るにはいい一枚だと思います。
それにしても不思議なタイトルの曲の多さ･･･。

非常に個性のある小品集。癒し系の曲もあれば、コミカルな曲もあり多彩な曲が楽しめる。ただし、それらが万人受けするかというと、そうではないと思う。
