タイトルの通り、これを買うなら全集を買った方がいいでしょう。
このCDを買う人は少なからずノクターンに興味がある人でしょうから、中途半端に９曲抜けたものより全集のほうが楽しめると思います。極端な言い方をするならこのCDの存在意義は全集があるのであまりない。どうせ選集にするのだったらノクターン以外の曲も取り入れたほうがよかったのではないでしょうか？

演奏はアシュケナージですので外れはないといっていいと思います。いずれも素晴らしいものです。しかし、これは人によるのかも知れませんが叙情性がやや欠け気味に感じられます。高度な演奏技術に支えられたアシュケナージの演奏はどれをとっても安定感抜群なのですが、欲を言えばもう少し表現に幅を持たせて欲しいですね。
