　私が一番すきなのは『ローマの祭り』です。他の２曲もすばらしく、特にローマの松のアッピア街道の云々は音のデュナミークに呆然とする場面もあります。
　ヂュトワならではの音の解釈でしょうね。過去にも何度もこれらの楽曲は聞きましたし、フルートパートに挑戦するために楽譜を買い込み、当然ながらそのレベルの高さに挫折しました。
　特に『ローマの祭り』はオーケストラも大編成を要します。その大家族を、洗練されたヂュトワの指揮棒はなんなく纏め上げ、そこに忘れ得ぬ最高の音を残してくれました。最高のお勧めは『祭り』の最終楽章でしょうね。
　とにかくすごいです。聞き終わって「すごい・・・」という声が何度出たかわかりません。それほどの名演奏です。

レスピーギといえば、まずこの「ローマ」三部作でしょう。最も良く演奏され、有名なのは、「ローマの松」で、多くの指揮者が録音しています。個人的には静かに演奏される「ジャニコロの松」が好みです。最後の部分で、鳥の声がしますが、レスピーギの楽譜には、当時のグラモフォン録音の「鳥の鳴き声」のレコードが付いており、それを演奏会場で流すという指示があったそうです。コンサートホールに自然音を持ち込んだという点では、例えは悪いですが、「プログレッシブ・ロック」のような、当時としては、前衛手法と言えるのではないでしょうか？この録音は、ダイナミックレンジが広く、「ジャニコロの松」の弱奏音の後、鳥の鳴き声がホールの残響も加わりホールの大きさが判る程の良い録音です。そして、終曲の「アッビア街道の松」に突入し、長い長いクレッシェンドの後の大音響で幕を閉じます。他の２曲も素晴らしい演奏です。この曲は、良い録音であるほど、印象深く心に刻まれますので、優秀なデッカ録音とデュトワの指揮の上手さで、私にとって、この三部作の決定盤となりました。是非、お聴きする事を勧めます。大推薦です！

　この穏やかなジャケの微笑！
デュトワさんのこの笑顔だけで、
「買い」に値するCDであることも間違いありませんが、
演奏もベリーグッドグッドすぎます。

　ローマ三部作はその力強さとイタリアらしい享楽的な雰囲気が
あふれた聞き応えある曲たちですが、ここまで「高めている」演奏も
ないでしょう。パーカス女としても、打楽器が鳴り捲っている
（活躍の楽章がよくある）のは嬉しいですし、一度演奏したい
と思えるほどにびりびりくる演奏技術・曲の演出力はまじで見事です！

　確実「永久保存」決定でございまっす。
