はっきり言って、こんなにすごい演奏とは思わなかった。とにかく音がいい。本当にコンサートホールにいるような臨場感が味わえる。そして張りつめた緊張感、完璧な小山実稚恵のピアノ、豪快というかすさまじいというか、なんとも形容のしようのない素晴らしい演奏だった。特にカデンツァは神としか思えない出来だった。ホロヴィッツだといいところがすぐに終わってしまうが、彼女は巨匠の風格とも言うべきスケールの大きな演奏で我々をひきつける。聴かせどころを押さえた的確な表現と推進力でホロヴィッツやアルゲリッチとは違ったこの曲の魅力を示していると思う。

このCDはもともとdsd録音で音がいいので愛聴盤だったがsacdが出たので買った。凄い。こんなに音のいいCDは初めて。去年のツィマーマンの1番2番も聴きまくったがこのCDが来てから御蔵いりしてしまった。なんと美しい曲なのだろうか。特に2楽章のオケが素晴らしい。至福の時間が過ぎて行く。彼女のピアノは強い。強い意志で時に甘く成りすぎのオケを引き締める。ソナタがまたいい。録音がすごい。録音に凝ったトロップのシューマン盤と同等かそれ異常。目の前にスタインウエーが出現する。曲も録音も全てがいい。奇蹟みたいなセッションだ。必聴
買わなきゃ絶対損。

この曲は、名技性のみならず構築力、洒脱なセンス、冷静な抑制心など、さまざまな要素をピアニストに１度に要求する大変な難曲ですが、小山実稚恵はそれらをかなりの水準でクリアしています。強音部でもまったく混濁のない音色美、音楽の流れに逆らわない自然な高揚感、緩徐楽章でのデリカシーなど、実に見事です。オーケストラ・パートはロシアのオケならでは野性味に溢れ、愁いに満ちた弦合奏、腹に響く低音など、今となっては希少価値満点。それゆえやや鈍い感じはありますが、ソロとの足並みはきっちり揃っています。
