オーボエ絡みの室内楽の中で、最も有名なのはこの曲。その決定版がこのＣＤだ。
同じモーツァルトが創った同様の編成の曲ではフルート四重奏曲があるが、楽曲としては絶対にこちらの方が優れている。フルート四重奏曲の方が一般的に人気があるのは、フルートと云う楽器自体の人気のせいだ。
曲自体が素晴らしいので、もっと他の演奏家の同じ位の名盤に出て来て欲しいものだ。もっとこの曲が世間に認知される様に、是非とも聴いて頂きたい。

四重奏曲はあまり演奏される機会が少ないのか、N響演奏会のロビーコンサートで初めて耳にしました。モーツァルトの中でもとても落ち着いた楽調で非常に気に入りました。

オーボエ四重奏曲、グラスハーモニカによるアダージョとロンド。　そして、もともとは弦楽五重奏曲から編曲した作品であるオーボエ五重奏曲、と、三者三様の魅力が光る好盤だと思います。　楽しくて伸びやかな四重奏曲、のほほんとしていながらもどこか幻想的なアダージョとロンド。　しかし私の好みでは、やはり短調の五重奏曲がピカイチですね。　モーツァルトの短調って、どれもいいんですが、この曲もまた独自の魅力を放っています。　ホントに現代の車のコマーシャルなんかにも十分使えそうなモダンな感覚が素晴らしいと思います。　ホリガーのテンポの速い演奏ものっけからぐいぐい聴き手を引き込んでいきます。　“疾走する悲しみ”というキャッチフレーズは、むしろこっちの方にふさわしいのでは？　確かにマイナーな作品ばかりなのですが、まだ聴いたことのない方には是非お薦めできます。
