こんなに元気でポップなアルバムは久しぶりである。3が本国で人気を集めているが、他の曲も完成度が高い。晴れた日に聴くにはもってこい。久しぶりにパワーポップと呼べるものです。良くも悪くも楽曲が似通っているところがあるが、それはおいおい解消していくだろう。これだけのセンスをもっているのだから。

私はセカンド・アルバムを先に買ってしまったので、少し物足りない部分もありがしたが、これが彼らの音楽だということを再確認しました。ボーカルの高音がとても綺麗で、聞いていて不快じゃない。音楽自体もうるさくないし、万人受けするバンドだと思います。あまり表には出てこない彼らですが、それがまた好印象。

何の予備知識もなく聞いてみたこのアルバム、かなり極上です。
メロディがキャッチーなのに、ギターが結構前面にでているあたり、我々ボン・ジョヴィなんかを中学生の頃聞いていた世代には、かなり魅力的。
で、ライナーノーツを読んでみて、納得してしまいました。
ボン・ジョヴィやらデフ・レパードなんかを若いくせに通過して来ているみたいですねぇ。
とにかく明るくて元気になりたいときには彼らでキマリです！
