マシュ・ケ・ナダで注目を集めることとなったセルメンの、
スティービー・ワンダーの曲を三曲も収録したアルバム。
やっぱり原曲が最高なだけあって、スティービーのカバーは、いい。
中でもＡ面一発目「Ｄont you worry 'bout a thing」は
原曲の跳ねるようなモータウン・サウンドとボサノヴァのリズムが
絡み合い、最高のポップスに仕上がっている。

スティービー好きならば、親を叩き売ってでも手に入れるべき盤だ。
勿論「スティービーなんて興味ねぇ」なんてことを抜かす
馬（自粛）な輩もいるだろうがそんな輩でも、
セルメンの盟友「アントニオ・カルロス・ジョビン」が
作詞・作曲した「三月の水」には踊らざるを得ないだろう。
いい意味でも悪い意味でも、ボサノヴァがカフェ・ミュージックとして

定着しつつある昨今の日本。
「イージー・リスニングとしてのボサノヴァ」というのが
蔓延しているような気がしてならない。
でも、そんなので終わるのは凄くもったいない。
ボサノヴァ、というかブラジル音楽が持つダンサブルな要素は
凄く魅力的。そんなことを少し思い出させてくれる良盤。

ボサノバじゃありませんが、良いアルバムです。特に最初の曲Don't,,,
は最高ですね。でも、ボサノバのリズムではありませんけど。
