幻想的である。薄ぼんやりとした月明かりのもとに語られるストリーとでもいおうか。
アコ‐スティックギターの始りとラストのメロディーが印象的だ。スローテンポでしっとりと聴かせる。
この♪月の歌は、2003年「上弦の月」ライブでは、私の想像したこの詩の情景と異なる演出が
されいて驚いたものだが、深く印象に残った。

カップリングの♪星の砂は、ピアノの弾き語りだ。哀調を帯びた旋律。これもまた、切々として
厚みのあるボーカルで魅了する。

２曲ともとても切ないバラードです。聴けば聴くほど深く胸にしみて、目頭が熱くなります。『月の詩』はバイオリン、そして『星の砂』はピアノ。歌詞のない、インストゥルメンタルの３、４曲目もすごく素敵なんです。もちろんＧａｃｋｔさんの歌声はたまらなく切なくて、胸をしめつけられます。是非聴いてください。

DarkでDeepでどことなく淫靡。最近、ノリ重視の良い曲が多く、この手のものはやらないのかなあ、と心配していたが、何か思うところがあったのだろうか。個人的には喜ばしいことと思う。

Title曲であるが、かなりボリュームを上げて聴かないと、中間の弱音部分のVocalが良く聴き取れない。音の強弱のコントラストが鮮烈。にもかかわらず、静かに始まり静かに終わる。計算高い曲と思う。

ジャケットのイラストもなかなかだ。主題歌に使用されているTEXHNOLYZEのイラストであるが、折り返しを開くと足が引きちぎられている。

今更ながらであるが、彼の世界観に付き合っていくことはなかなか大変な作業であり、楽しいものであると痛感した。
