お待ちかね十二国記の各話総集編です。
陽子や泰麒のこれまでのあゆみや成長記録もダイジェストになって描かれています。
そしてなんといっても、重要語句の説明や十二国の常識などが話に沿って説明され、語句の字も１つ１つ画面に表れて、初心者の方にもとても分かりやすい構成になっています。
また、スタッフさんによる特典も期待できます。

　十二国紀人気者の六太と楽俊が案内役の総集編です。アニメから入った人も、原作は読んだけどアニメには足踏みしている人も、見所が用語の解説付きで見ることができるので、お試しにはもってこいです。
　ＤＶＤは欲しいけど、全部揃えるのはちょっとという人にも躊躇いなく購入できてお徳。景麒と尚隆ファンには出番が少なくて、物足りないかも。

月の影 影の海、風の海 迷宮の岸各転章が収録されています。

予青七年七月末。慶国は景王の居宮金波宮にて、先の王舒覚の妹、偽王舒栄を真なる景王が倒した。
その景王――中嶋陽子は、友である楽俊にじきに行われる即位式に備えて、世界の仕組みや国の事などを教えてもらう。

和元三十二年一月。蝕によって蓬莱へと流されてしまった泰麒が、１０年ぶりに蓬山へと帰還した。その夏、禁軍将軍である乍驍宗を泰王としてむかえ天勅を受けた後、戴国は泰王の居宮白圭宮へと下った。
