   引っ越したばかりの若い女性ヤンは、いつも誰かに見られているように感じ、不思議な現象にノイローゼ状態だった。精神科医ジムの診察により、回復していくヤンだったが、彼女の心の奥底にある悩みを知ることで、ジムは自分の中で眠っていた何かを目覚めさせてしまい、まわりで異変が起こりはじめる…。
   霊に苦しめられる人間たちの恐怖を描いたサイコ・ホラーだが、根底にあるのは愛。恐怖描写はショッキングだけれど、霊の持つ愛の深さを知ったとき、切ない気持ちもこみあげてくる。しかし、やはり注目はレスリー・チャン。心の闇が目前に現れ、精神的に追いつめられていく主人公を演じるレスリーの鬼気せまる演技は、この作品に出演後、自殺してしまったことを思うと、演技とはいえ彼のやつれていく姿を見るのは胸が痛い。（斎藤　香）

ホラー映画と思ってみたらこれは根底はラブストーリーなんだと見終わったあとにじわじわ感じる映画です。最後ビルの上から飛び降りようとして話すレスリーが現実に飛び降りた彼と重なって涙がとまりませんでした。彼の最後の作品となるこの映画をみて、レスリーという映画が本当に終わったのだと余韻にしばらくひたってしまった物語でした。悲しく美しい映画だと思います。

ずっとこの映画を見るのが怖かったのです。レスリーの遺作になってしまい、しかも精神的に追い詰められてゆくその姿が、実際の彼の苦しみとオーバーラップしてしまい、ファンなら誰しも見たいけれど見るのをためらってしまうでしょう。でも、見てよかった・・・。ホラーの部分は確かに怖いけれど、根底は愛情のすれ違いによる感情のもつれを、レスリーをはじめ芸達者な俳優陣が丁寧に演じていて、ただの軽いホラー映画とは程遠い深い人間の情の描き方が見事です。レスリーは本当に‘哀しみ’を表現するのが上手い役者です。
でも、ただの映画としてはやはり見れませんでした。

こんな風に彼も実際に精神的に追い詰められていったのかと想像したら、涙無しでは見られません。映画では私はラストに感動の!涙を流せましたが。
最後に素晴らしい映画を遺してくれたレスリー、多謝！！！

いろんな意味でこれが不世出の俳優レスリー・チャンの遺作だなんて信じたくはない。
この映画の中で精神科医に扮し、一生懸命自身の患者に語りかけるレスリー・チャンの台詞がかなしく、せつない。ファンとしてはこんなに胸を締め付けられる映画はないと思う。
なんでこの中で自身が語った台詞を思い出してはくれなかったのか？

映画のラストシーンのようになんで飛び降りるのを思いとどまってくれなかったのか？これを見ていてそんなことばかり問いかけてしまいました。
