第一印象としては・・ジョン・ウェスト加入後の作品の中では最も良いと言えます。あくまでソツの無い仕上がりといったところでしょうか。
１~３枚目の頃の、バッキングの殆どを仕切るくらいの洪水のようなキーボード攻勢は、前作以上に影を潜め

キーボードとエレキの比率が半々くらいになったのは個人的に少し残念（よりバンドらしくなった、とも受け取れますケド・・）
>1、5など、原点に戻った様な分りやすい楽曲もある反面、中には別にロイヤルハント名義で発表しなくても・・といった曲も。

決して駄作では無いのですが、デヴュー当時からずっと追いかけてきた人間からすると手放しで最高！！とは言い難いのが正直なところです。
私は発売日に国内盤を購入したのですが、外盤にはマーシャルアーツのスペシャルヴァージョンなるものが収録されているそうです。
今から購入を考えてる方は輸入盤の方にしてみては？

デンマークのメロディックメタルバンド、ロイヤル・ハントの7th。
若手バンドやフォロワーが台頭しようと、1の格好良さなどはこのバンドでなくては決して出せないクオリティの高さがあるし、ジョン・ウエストのVoも完全に定着した感じでこのきらびやかなバンドサウンドにすっかりマッチしている。
どの曲にもハードロック、メタルとしての勢いがあり、ややアメリカナイズ気味のキャッチーさも上手い具合に取り込まれていて嫌味でない。キーボードとギターのバランスもよろしく、過不足なく存在感を表しており、これはいうなれば大人になって熟成されたロイヤルハントサウンド。
新しい刺激は薄いが、まるでよく出来たワインのように心地よい。

ロイヤルハントの他の作品と一線をかす異色作。ジョン・ウェストの歌唱力がこれまで以上に活かされいてる反面、従来のメロディアスなサウンドは後退。誰もが聴けばロイヤルハントである事に気がつくがやはりロイヤルハントらしくない作品。悪くはない…この感想しか残らないのが悔やまれる。
