   近未来、中学3年生同士に殺しあいを強いる法律「BR法」を生き延びた七原秋也（藤原竜也）はテロリストとなって大人たちへの復しゅうを開始し、東京を爆破。政府は新法律「BRII」を制定し、中学3年の1クラス生徒42名に、孤島に立て籠もる七原の暗殺を命令する…。
   国会をも巻き込む問題作として大ヒットしたバイオレンス映画の続編。深作欣二監督がクランクイン直後にガンで死去したため、息子の健太が代わってメガホンを握った。監督交代劇の混乱が画面に表れており、現場でシナリオを改定していく作業ゆえか、唐突な設定の数々には観る側も混乱。しかし、欣二監督が掲げていた“戦争、テロ、七原秋也”のテーマは健太監督が見事に受け継いで描出しており、敵が誰かもわからないまま戦いを強いられる中学生たちの惨劇から、人生に勝ち組も負け組もないことが伝わってくる。またこの御時世に、堂々と反米を謳い上げたあたりも勇気ある行為。技術的な質云々を超えて、観る者に問題意識を与えるという意味では、前作以上に必見の問題作である。（的田也寸志）

深作先生には敬意を表しています。しかし，この作品はなしです。
上陸シーンはプライベートライアンを悪くパクってます。
ドラマ性も個々のキャラクターを描ききれていないので中途半端。ぜんぶ中途半端です。
REVENGEのほうではこの点は改善されているようですので観るのならそちらをおすすめします。

２を作る、と聞いていやな予感がしました。しかも深作欣二が
体調不良のため息子の深作健太が監督という。
いや、もう見事なまでの駄作。前作がよかったので
高く持ち上げられて落とされた感じ。テロリストとなった七原秋也、その他
の服装どこの民族だ！？と思わずツッコミ入れたくなった。
当時の政治状況から反戦メッセージをいれたくなる気持ちはわからなくもないが
それにしたってこのシナリオはないだろ。竹内力の晴れやかな「トライ」は
笑ってしまいましたが。

はっきり言って人生で最高に退屈な映画でした・・・・・・・・
監督のお父上の作品は好きでしたが、息子・・・・七光り？
この作品は遺志を継ぐってことでしょうがないにしても、別の映画で監督をつとめるような技量はないのでは？（”同じ月をみている”とか、原作のマンガは本当に良い話です。）
メチャクチャ過ぎて細かく突っ込めません。買うと損です。レンタルでも損です。
