デビュー以前の二人（ユウとアッコ）のプライベートな心境が伝わってきます。特に出身である鹿児島の風景が目に浮かんできます。先日、鹿児島市内の北埠頭で桜島を眺めながらこの歌を聴きました。二人の影が横にありそうに感じました。ある意味、この歌はリアルです。

詩の内容がとてもメッセージ性の強い
曲です！種はアルバム「鬣」にも収録
されていますが、ｼﾝｸﾞﾙで「種~『A』」
と続けて聞くとアルバムで聞くのとは
違った世界観が見えてきます！
『A』の詩は曲調とは対照的にかなり
シビアな内容です。

このＣＤは、神様があたえた試練をアッコの言葉で哲学的に表現しています。そして「種」はその歌詞に対して、神様に対する期待をユウちゃんが曲で表しています。絶望の歌ではありません。始まりの歌です。北埠頭からフェリーに乗って桜島に行きましょう。ついでに鹿屋にも行きましょう。何回聞いても飽きがこないのは、試練を自然な形で表しているからです。ちなみにカップリングの曲「Ａ」は、GO!GO!の血液型ですかね？アッコさんこれはやりすぎです。
