   コナミの人気RPG「幻想水滸伝」シリーズの世界観を背景にしたテキストアドベンチャーゲームが本タイトルである。前作『幻想水滸外伝 Vol.1 ハルモニアの剣士』の続編にあたる、シナリオ分岐型のマルチストーリー展開を売りとする作品内容だ。

   この外伝では、元となる『幻想水滸伝II』では語られなかった部分や、仲間たちのエピソードをアドベンチャーという形で表現している。本タイトルでは前作のラストで故郷クリスタルバレーに戻る決心をしたナッシュのその後と、旅立っていった108星たちのその後の姿も描かれている。

   もちろん前作をプレイしていなくても十分楽しめるが、『幻想水滸伝III』へ続く伏線も張られており、同シリーズのファンには見逃せない内容だ。ナッシュを中心に展開する『幻想水滸伝II』の世界は、この作品にて完結することになる。（林田信浩）

幻想水滸伝IIの舞台裏を表したようなゲームです。
IIをプレイした方には是非プレイして頂きたいと思います。
一番の見所はやはり、イラストレーションで、オープニングムービーも美しいです。
そして、外伝Vol.1から続いていて、１のクリアデータ引継ぎによるおまけの様な部分もあります。

文章を読んでいくだけ、というような気もしますが、選択肢によって話の方向も変わってきます。
値段もそう張ったものでもないので、プレイして、損は無いと思います。

幻想水滸伝２の戦争が終わったあとがこのゲームの舞台となっていて、最終的にはナッシュ本人の周りの事件が描かれています。
その中に本拠地を去った１０８星の仲間がアクセントとして登場するといった感じです。

前作のデータがあるとシナリオの変化もおこり、無くても所々に出る主人公ナッシュの選択肢により大きくシナリオが変化しますので、ＣＧギャラリーをコンプするのも一苦労。

又テキストアドベンチャーということもあり何度も繰り返しプレイするのも中々気力が必要で始めの１回２回くらいまでは楽しめるものの、それ以降は本当に一度クリアしたシナリオは飛ばしてプレイできる機能とかも付けてもらいたかったですね。

でも今は値段も安いですし、幻想シリーズのファンの方でしたら一回は遊んでみる価値は充分にある作品だと思います。
あと前作同様オープニングムービーはとてもなめらかなアニメーションでこれまたテイルズシリーズ顔負けのクオリティです。
