ソフトドームは見た目は中央部が若干高くなっている感じだが、指で触った感覚ではむしろ少し凹んでいるように感じる。クラシックドームは長時間使っていると指先が痛くなってくるのが難点だったが、ソフトドームではそういうことはほとんどない。その反面、操作には慣れが必要で、全般として軽めのセッティングにして指先全体で軽く押すくらいでちょうどいい。クラシックドームになれた人には、最初はあまりに頼りなく感じるだろう。汚れに関しては比較的汚れにくいようだが、長時間使用していると表面の凸凹が徐々にすり減ってくるので、私は汚れていなくても一定期間ごとに交換することにしている。

　従来までの、キャップ（クラシック・ドーム）よりも
ヘッドの部分が広くなっていて、安定感があり、
使いやすいと思います。
　今お使いの、キャップがへたってきているなら
交換するついでに、試してみるのもいいと思います。
　１０個入りというのが、ちょっと多い（５個位で十分
だと思う。）ので、星４つにさせていただきます。

3種類の中で最も気に入っていました。
柔らかい感触と、絶妙なグリップ感で指を疲れさせません。

ただし、磨耗が3種類の中で一番早いと感じています。
ヘビーユーザである私は、贅沢に1ヶ月に1回の交換もしばしばでした。
故にこの10個セットは非常に便利だったのです。
それが何故か何処に行っても販売されていません。

大体の愛用者は、この3種類の内の1種類を好んで利用しているはず。
なのに3種類セットのみを販売するとはどういう方針からでしょう？
本製品の再販を強く希望します。

また、Lenovoになってから（はたまた小型化したからか）、
ラップトップを閉じた時にトラックポイントとキーボードが
液晶に触れるようになったようで、、、
特にこのソフトドームは液晶中心に点々の模様が付いてしまいます。
これは閉じる時に紙を挟んだりする事で回避できます。
