中古でThinkPadを入手したのですが、摩耗したトラックポイントでの操作が微妙でマウスの購入を考えていました。そんな時この商品を知りました。付け替えてみてビックリ。見違えるように操作性が良くなりました。このコストでこの快適さなら買いですね。

３種類のトラックポイントキャップの中でも、最も細かい操作などに適しているように思う。ただし長時間使用した場合に、指先が痛くなるのと、キャップ自体の磨耗も３種類の中で一番激しいため定期的に交換する（ヘビーユーザーなら２ヶ月に１度程度？）という割り切りが必要だと思います。

誰もが一番最初に触れることになるトラックポイント・キャップです。
表面の細かい凹凸によるザラザラとした触感と
絶妙な柔らかさの素材によって高いグリップを生み出しています。
全体の形状も絶妙なアーチを描いており
そのグリップと相成ってどの方向からでも高い操作性を生み出しています。

ですが、その表面の凹凸にゴミや垢が付着しやすくスグに汚れてしまいます。
それと同時に摩耗も起こり、グリップが失われて行きます。
そしたら交換し時ではないでしょうか。
