ラウンド・テーブルが女性ヴォーカリストにニノを迎え、とてもビューティフルなアルバムを作りあげた。いわゆるクラブ寄りなアプローチから一転、60年代フレイヴァー満載のエヴァー・ポップな作品に仕上げている。もちろん、ラウンド・テーブル独特なエッセンスの妙味も随所に生きてます。

北川勝利と伊藤利恵子からなるお洒落ポップス・ユニット、ROUND TABLEの2年ぶりのアルバム。今回はゲスト・ヴォーカル、ninoをフィーチャリング。1曲目の「Let Me Be With You」がTVアニメ『ちょびっツ』の主題歌だったこともあり、渋谷系(死語)ミーツ秋葉系なテイストが新しい。これはいい狙い目かも? 謎のヴォーカリスト、nino嬢のコケティッシュなヴォイスとかなりこなれたサウンド・メイキングで聴かせます。しかし全体に甘口。もうちょっとホロ苦かったり、酸っぱかったり、渋かったりするとモアべターよ。 (杉山達) --- 2003年05月号

ROUND TABLE feat.NInoとしてのファースト・アルバムです。

Ninoさんの歌声が凄くかわいらしい。

甘く、優しく、スウィートな歌い方は、
まるで隣で恋人に囁きかけるかの様。

女性が聴けば、可愛らしい気持ちになれるし、
男性にももちろんお勧めです。

愛らしいといっても、アイドル系の雰囲気よりは、
甘い歌声のシンガー、といった感じです。

聴いていると心癒されます。
優しい声なので気持ちをほわわ〜とさせてくれます。（笑）
昼間、天気の良い時に聴く音楽としても、とても雰囲気が合うと思います。

CHARA、フルカワミキ、などの音楽に似た雰囲気です。
あれをもっと甘くした感じ。
こういう甘い声や、歌い方が出来る人って、
なかなかいないから凄いなぁ、と思います。

聴いているうちにすっかりファンになっていました。

ROUND TABLEの曲、NINOの歌声。
甘いけどけして甘ったるくはなく、何度聴いても飽ません。
個人的にすきなのは「Day by Day」
甘酸っぱくて少し切なくなる。素敵な歌です。
もちろん他の曲も大好きです。

タイトルは「APRIL」、春ですが。
春夏秋冬　いつ聴いても良い歌だと思います。
特に休日におすすめです。

まさに春。軽快なリズムに甘いヴォーカル。秋夏冬に聞くにはもったいない。
やはりＮｉｎｏさん。甘い声だけれど切れがあって、少し不安な感じがまた色っぽい。
そして、それを支えるＲｏｕｎｄＴａｂｌｅの音楽性も抜群。
中途半端なバラードには手を出さず、ミドル~アップテンポの曲を並べ、ヴォーカルの魅力を余すとこなく引き出しています。

次のアルバムはどうするのだろう？と余計な心配がしたくなるほど完成度が高い１枚です。
