正直、マキシ化の企画に関しては、複雑な印象がありました・・・。
しかし、2nd Beatの曲ではまだ聴いた事のない曲がたくさんありましたので、
結局、買っていくことにしました。
で、最初に、「星降る夜に騒ごう」を聴くために、この「BE THERE」を買いました。
まず、「BE THERE」は、ベストアルバム「Pleasure」の中でも凄く好きな曲なんですが、

改めて聴いていても、やっぱりいい曲だなあと思いました。
もう、１０以上も前の曲なのに、いつ聴いても新鮮です。
そして、「星降る夜に騒ごう」も、当時のB'zらしい楽しいポップな曲で凄く良かったです。
何だかんだ言って、買ってよかったと思いました。

B'zのシングルとしては初めてオリコントップ１０入りした作品。
通算では４枚目に当たるシングルで９０年発売。
歌詞の中に「日替わりで飛び込むどこかの国の新しいRevolution」と言うフレーズがあるが、
これは当時のベルリンの壁崩壊の事を歌ったもの。
１位こそ獲得していないがファンの間では人気が高く、

ダンスビートにシリアスな歌詞をいれ、B'z伝説の始まりのなった作品。
カップリングにはファンキーなナンバー「星降る夜に騒ごう」を収録。

今回、デジタルマスタリングを施し、マキシシングル形態で再発売される。
初回版全１０枚購入者にはもれなく収納ボックスが付いてくるとの事。

今のB'zとはかなりサウンドが異なっているが、十分現在でも通用するサウンドだ。

「ＢＥ　ＴＨＥＲＥ」
のＢ面（今ではカップリングかな）の隠れた名曲「星降る夜に騒ごう」
私の学生時代、バブル期絶頂にブレイクしたＢ’ｚらしい曲調だが、最近同世代であろうサラリーマンがノリノリで歌っているのを観て久々にＣＤを購入して聴いてみました。

特に２番（今こういう言い方しないかな）の

♪傷つく為だけに恋するんじゃない　別れる為だけに出会うわけでもない
僕ら限られた時間をそれぞれ預かっているから♪

歌詞がなんか良い。
ありふれた歌詞のようだがこれがサビではなく出だしの分であるために心にグッと来る。
一生と言う限られた時間を預かっていると言う表現が素直で「積極的に行こう」という慰めにも励ましにもとれてノリノリ（＝スゴク前向き）になれる。

Ｂ’ｚは他の曲（曲名が出てこない・・）で
「この一瞬は一生の何分の一かなんて良くできた腕時計で計るもんじゃない」
という歌詞があるように稲葉氏は一生という価値観に思い入れがあるのかもしれない。
