リリースされて時間が経ってしまったので、レビューを書くか迷いましたが、どうしても書いておきたくなりました。

この２曲は、カウントダウンものの番組でサビの部分だけをよく聴いていてメロディーが気に入っていたのですが、ちゃんと聴いてみたら、メロディーだけじゃなくて歌詞もすごく良くて感動してしまいました。恥ずかしながら、この曲まではこのグループのことを知らなかったんですが、この２曲があまりに良かったのでjupiterも聴いてみたら「天体観測」が入っていて、「えっ？この曲もBumpだったの？」と驚きました。曲名さえも知らなかったんですが、歌詞の「見えないものをみようとして　望遠鏡をのぞき込んだ」という部分が、表現力があるなあとすごく印象に残っていたので。

で、この２曲で!す。変な例えで申し訳ないですが、俵万智の短歌を初めて読んだ時ぐらいのインパクトがありました。言葉の力を最大限に引き出して歌に乗せて、それがピタッと心に届いてくる気持ち良さ！私はBumpのファン層より年は上だと思いますが、人間いくつになっても夢があったり、自分探しをしてしまうもので、そんな迷える私達を励ましてくれる力のある曲。藤原君、ほんとにすごすぎる。曲もいいし、何よりこんなにいい歌詞を書ける人ってそういないと思います。
新しい若い才能に出会いました。気づくのが遅くなってしまったけど、ありがとうと言いたいです。

sailing dayは聴いているうちに底から力が湧いてくるようで大好きな曲です。３曲目の件で星を下げている方もみえますが、BUMPの他の作品を聞いておられない方は仕方ないかもしれません。アルバムにもシングルにも遊びの隠し曲が入っているのはBUMPのお約束のようなものですので、これは「sailing day/ロストマン」の評価とは別に考えて頂けると、と思います。

BUMPの曲にはいつも励まされています。この「sailing day」もこれから新しい世界に旅立っていく人に贈りたい曲。テンポも良くて元気とやる気が湧いてきます。BUMPを知らない人にも聴いてほしいです。
