この曲からＢＵＭＰは大きな変化をとげたと思います。
両Ａ面シングルという、ロストマン＆sailingday
何よりも不思議感というものがなく何の先入観ももたずに
聞けるこの２曲。
ＢＵＭＰを知ったのは天体観測の人が多いかもしれないけれど、
ＢＵＭＰ自体を好きになったのはこの２曲の人が多いと思います。
特にsailingdayは映画ワンピースの主題歌ともなり
共鳴を受けた人が多いと思います。
ロストマンは初めて聞いた人にとっては微妙な感じかもしれませんが、
２曲を通して聴いていると、sailingadyにある良さ、ロストマンにある良さがいっぱいでてくると思います。
自分が特に気に入ってるのは「時間はあの日から止まったままなんだ遠ざかって消えた背中　あぁロストマン気づいたろう　僕らが丁寧に切り取ったその絵の名前は思い出」って部分です。
詩もそうなんですが、曲調がとくに気に入りました。
ロストマンの中でも少しテンポが速くなっていて、サビよりも盛り上がる部分です。聴いてみないと分からないのですが、すごく藤原サンの声が胸に響く感じになるんです。これはまさに今までにないＢＵＭＰＯＦＣＨＩＣＫＥＮといっても過言ではないと思います。
自分にとってこの曲は前に進める、というよりも後ろを振り向かず歩いていける（過去を振り返らず）という感じにとることができます。
それは人それぞれなので、実際に貴方が聞いたとき感じることは違うと
思います。でも、確実に一歩でも半歩でも前に進める曲なので、ぜひ聴いて欲しいです。

僕がいままで出会った中で、一番最高の曲「sailing day」。
どんな時も、僕の背中を押してくれた。前へ、前へ、少しでいい
あきらめるな。そんな想いが感じられる。
心が疲れたので、元気がでる曲が聴きたい、そんな人は必聴！

スノースマイル以前に9ヶ月かけて制作された、BUMP OF CHICKENの最高傑作「ロストマン」。まるでオーケストラのような壮大なサウンドの中で、藤君の歌声が泳いでいます。「ロストマン」がこの先のBUMP OF CHICKENの代表曲として腰を据えることは間違いありません。
“さぁ行こうか　ロストマン”の所はまさに感動の頂点です！

BUMP OF CHICKEN最速「sailing day」は久々のアッパーな曲です。
走り出したくなるような爽快な気持ちにさせてくれます。
