あったかいけど、今回はロックしています。サポートメンバーで変わるときもあるけど、今回はリンゴ自身が乗りまくりたかったのではないでしょうか。ジョージを忘れるために。なんていうとセンチメンタルすぎるかもしれませんが、佳曲が多いです。一曲目なんてすぐ覚えてしまうくらいインパクトありました。

リンゴのニューアルバム。相変わらずのほのぼのとしたボーカルが、とっても良く、思わず微笑んでしまいます。ドラムも全曲で叩いていますが、やっぱりシンプルで暖かいリンゴのドラムが健在。年の割には（？）結構パワフルで素晴らしい。また、ジョージの追悼曲が入っていて、そのギターソロはなんとエリック　クラプトン。良い。クラプトンはもう一曲ソロを弾いているが、それも彼ならではの音とフレーズで、文句なし。デイブ　ギルモアもギターソロ二曲。やはり、リンゴの人脈は広い、と感じさせます。個人的には、前作よりも良い気がするのですが。

発売前に数曲聞きましたが、特にジョージへのミディアムテンポのレクイエム「NEVER WITHOUT YOU」に涙をさそわれました。リンゴの放牧的なヴォーカルがジョージの優しさを思い起こしてくれます。そしてこちらも優しい気持ちになれるのです。「ビートルズを聞くと優しい気持ちになれる」とはよく言ったものですが、ここでも同じことが言えるのではないでしょうか。「リンゴはいてくれるだけでいい」といった雰囲気がビートルズ時代にあったと聞いていますが、今でも同じ気持ちのファンは多いのではないかと思います。楽曲の質に関係なく買いたくなります。「リンゴだから買わなきゃ！」って。クラプトンのスタイリッシュなプレイも聞きものです。
