   2001年3月発売の『こんにちわ』以来、2年ぶりとなる新作アルバム。セルフプロデュースで全編ほぼ一発録音という勢いをも見せた力作で、「襟裳岬」「落陽」「旅の宿」などを共に作ってきた作詞家、岡本おさみとのコンビも復活している。NHK総合「難問解決！ご近所の底力」のエンディングテーマでもある「流星2003」は、1979年リリースのシングル曲「流星」のセルフカヴァーで、ライヴアルバム以外に収録されていなかった楽曲。また、「星降る夜の旅人は」はテレビ東京「田舎に泊まろう！」エンディングテーマに。（谷崎俊太）

７０年代、オンタイムでは聴いていないのですが、私はここ数年前からファンなり、それもベスト盤に収録された楽曲しかしらなかったのですが、2004年秋にライブがあるということもあり、近年のオリジナルアルバムを数枚きいているうちに、このアルバムに行き当たりました。

岡本さんとのコンビ復活ということで、あまりピン！とこなくて、一曲目を聴きはじめた時のドラムの打ち込みが、すごく新鮮で夢中で聴き込むうちに、あっ、という間に最後まで聴いていました。

良い曲というのは、情景が頭の中で「ぱぁ---っと」うかび、わずか４、５分の間なんだけど、ドラマが描かれるですよね。

まさに、このアルバムには、それがあり、大事にしていきたい一枚です。

吉田拓朗さんは、僕にとって「永遠の兄貴」です。
孤独な時にどれほど励まされたことか。
久しぶりに曲を聞いて感激しました。
お体の具合が気になりますが、
しっかり療養されて、また元気な姿をみせてください。
作詞の岡本あさみさんの詩も、心に染みます。
大人の詩ですね。かっこいいなあ。

「月夜のカヌー」は聴けば聴くほど名曲ぞろい。
ボーカルも演奏もすばらしい！
「ときめく時は」のような曲は、拓郎にしか作れないと思う。
これぞ男の気合い！！
今はリハビリ大変だけど頑張って！
