4.0 out of 5 stars 黛敏郎の『曼荼羅交響曲』, 2003/8/6
『曼荼羅交響曲』。素晴らしいタイトルですね。黛敏郎氏の代表曲です。黛氏はそれまで西洋色の影響を受けた前衛音楽家でしたが、仏教をモチーフに、東洋精神を芸術というかたちで表現したのです。

『曼荼羅交響曲』では、金剛界曼陀羅と胎臓界曼陀羅を見事に表現し切っていると思います。大日如来さながらの宇宙を感じます。

もちろん、仏教をしらなくても日本人の感性に合った交響曲でしょうし、難解な雰囲気を楽しむ事もできます。この芸術性の高さは、もう少し評価されてしかるべきでしょう。
